Problem with Accessing Mycodo through ip web server

I have installed Mycodo recently on my Raspberry Pi, but every time I go to where the instructions dictate to boot up Mycodo, https://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/, I get an error:
"This site can’t be reached

XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX refused to connect."
(Note: I did replace the X’s with my ip)
Additionally, when installing Mycodo, the system printed out these messages 10 times:
“Could not connect to http://localhost. Waiting 60 seconds then trying again (up to 10 times)…”

Does anyone have any ideas to fix this or have had similar problems?

Thank you so much in advance for the help!

Were there errors during the install?

No, it said it completed the install successfully, but there were things that said “Failed” as seen above.

The text at the end of the install reads:

#### Mycodo Installer finished

#### Total install time: %d minutes and %d seconds

*********************************
** Mycodo finished installing! **
*********************************

Although the install finished, it doesn't necessarily mean it installed correctly.
