Subject: Beta Testers Wanted – Mycodo iPhone App Now in TestFlight!
Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on a native iPhone app for Mycodo because I wanted an easier way to monitor and manage my setup on the go. The app is still in the early stages, but it’s now live on TestFlight and I’m looking for a few fellow Mycodo users to help me test it out.
What’s working so far?
- Full dashboard with real-time sensor data
- Viewing and managing most inputs and outputs
- Internal unit conversion system (since the API doesn’t currently support updating units)
- Clean native iOS UI built from the ground up
What’s not available yet?
- Adding new sensors that require dependency installation (no API for that yet)
- Changing unit conversions from the server side
- A few advanced features from the web interface that rely on unexposed APIs
What I need from you:
- Try it with any sensors or outputs you use that I might not have tested
- Report bugs, layout quirks, or anything unexpected
- Give feedback on what’s missing or would make the experience better
Perks for Testers:
Anyone who helps out during the beta gets a free license when the app goes live on the App Store (planning to price it at $4.99).
If you’re interested, just reply here or DM me and I’ll get you a TestFlight invite.
Appreciate the support and excited to bring more of Mycodo to mobile!
