Hey Kyle, I would like to build your laminar flow hood design from the automated mushroom cultivation tutorial. Are you happy with the chinese fan & filter combo you used? Or would you recommend a different, maybe smaller model in hindsight?

The filter is great and would definitely recommend. They also make a 2 ft x 4 ft version if you wanted it double the width. The fan is a good option for having a minimal amount of modification to use it (wooden mount) and a pre-filter fits perfectly on top of the fan box. Squirrel cage fans I hear are a good option, since they are small, inexpensive, and can provide a good amount of air pressure that’s needed to force air through a HEPA filter.
