The reason you might be interested in this is that it replaces the need to put an IP-Address to navigate to the Web-interface on windows machines.
We need to edit the file located in:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
“hosts”
Edit this file in your favorite editor. Note this will need to be run in administrative mode in order to complete the edit.
Should navigate to Mycodo when throwing
Http://mycodo
In the web-browser.
Note for Chrome I had to trust this as a source before it allowed me to navigate
open a cmd and try to ping mycodo to verify… should translate to its IP
